Harvest Festival is such an exciting time for the community. The Salem Home residents prepared all week for the festival and you could feel the excitement.
The residents baked cookies to enjoy at the parade. They spent their mornings reminiscing about past festivals. They sat on the patios listening to the music sweep across the city. One resident even braved the heat and went to the festival to ride the Ferris wheel and get some mini donuts.
On Saturday morning, with the help of volunteers, staff and family, almost all the residents watched the Harvest Festival parade. A big thank you to all the volunteers, families and staff who came to help. The residents got to enjoy this community event because of you.
Also, a big thank you to Murray Soltis for representing Salem Home in the parade with the duet bike.
