We have an Exciting Construction Update to share!  The Cottonwood/Maple hallway is nearing completion from the inside, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to update you on the progress.

Currently, our dedicated team is hard at work mudding and painting the walls, giving them a fresh and vibrant look. We’re getting closer to the exciting moment when we can finally start placing furniture, installing H-tracks, and attending to all the intricate details that will make this space truly special.

But that’s not all! We’re also making preparations on the roof for the arrival of the new Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV). By the beginning of November, we expect the ERV to be delivered, and our team will swiftly connect it from the inside, ensuring a seamless integration.

We understand that you’re eagerly awaiting the completion of this project, and we share your enthusiasm. Our dedicated construction crew is working diligently to bring this vision to life, creating a space that will enhance the experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Starting September 18th, we will be implementing some necessary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and staff. In order to maintain infection control standards, hoarding will be installed in the dining room area of Cottonwood. We understand that this may cause some disruption.  However, please know that it is essential to keep dust away from residents and staff. Rest assured, our RCM on Cottonwood will be working closely with her staff to make this process as easy as possible for everyone involved.

In addition to the construction updates, we have some exciting news for the residents on Cottonwood. As part of our commitment to enhancing their lived experience, we will be installing a shower in one of the tub rooms. This addition will provide residents with the option of having a shower, offering added convenience and comfort.

Furthermore, we are taking this opportunity to improve the safety features within Cottonwood.  Our team will install a sprinkler system to ensure the highest level of fire safety for our residents and staff.  Additionally, we will be updating the lighting in the hallway, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We are working diligently to complete the construction in a timely manner. With the progress we’ve made so far, we are optimistic that we will be finished just in time for the festive season. Our goal is to have everything ready for Christmas decorations, creating a joyful and festive ambience for all.
